The A2circuits usbISO+ is a USB data and power isolator supporting low, full, and high-speed transfers. This isolation barrier helps reduce or eliminate issues such as ground loops in measurement and audio systems, as well as protecting the primary side (HOST) in the event of an overvoltage or short circuit on the secondary side (DEVICE). Furthermore, the power isolated by the A2circuits usbISO+ is boosted and then regulated to achieve low noise regardless of the source.
Moreover, we are the only ones to implement overcurrent protection in a manner typical of laboratory power supplies: by actively limiting the output voltage (CC mode - constant current) to prevent overloads. The A2circuits isoUSB+ also incorporates TVS surge suppression diodes on the power lines, low-capacitance ESD diodes, and common-mode filters on the high-speed differential lines. During transmission, the USB signal is processed by a proprietary chip developed by Analog Devices Inc., utilizing iCoupler® technology, which reduces jitter.

The A2circuits isoUSB+ device will work well with:
- digital-analog audio devices: ADC, DAC, A/D interfaces – headphones, guitar, microphone, etc.,
- measuring devices: oscilloscope, signal generator, SDR, etc.,
- prototypes of electronic devices: breadboards or evaluation boards, microcontroller programmers,
- devices powered by high DC or AC voltages, where a short circuit, breakdown or strong capacitive coupling may occur (sometimes felt as a tingling sensation when touched), such as: 3D printers, RC models (e.g. programmers for drones, RC vehicles and planes, e-bikes, etc.), CNC machines, PLC controllers and others.
